If south Wales never had so many Glory Hunters

Sat Feb 20, 2010 10:11 am

Do you think we may have had no money problems ? A few thousand more fans at the stadium going back years may have been enough to ensure our survival.

So i propose that its PR and the Glory Hunters fault that we are in this position !

I agree going right back through to the 70's we have had much more Glory hunters than most teams, We could play Hereford on minute 35,000, next home game 9,000, we could play Man City home next game 6,000, Leeds home 22,000 next home game 11,000.
3 Big games a year our Glory hunting fans use to turn out for at home games.

If an extra 3,000 a game had turned up for Sam I believe we wouldnt off been in so much trouble.

Agreed, I remember when Earnie was playing and we were starting to get some decent attendances for (old div 4) div 3 ?

Think it was 93 ? when we took 29000 (6000) to Scunphorpe and everyone was talking about city and their attendances and then we sold earnie and it went down hill from there.

I think if we went down a division next season, we would lose 10,000 overnight and they would be all the ones who as people to sit down. If we could survive without them i would say good riddance.
