organising a demo, how to do it

Sat Feb 20, 2010 1:28 pm

its pointless posting a few blurry details on here or other messagboards

not that many people read them

what you need to do is this ......

go down the printers

run off several thousand leaflets

with a simple message

" peaceful demo...we want ridsdale out ...assemble before and after next home game outside main entrance "

hand them out at the next home game ......to fans......who will actually be at the game

there are lots of people calling for these demos and suggesting action...well do something more concrete thats going to actually let people know one is actually being planned

thats going to get far more people involved than messages on here or another website calling for a "demo " and then slagging off fans for not coming .....when most of them probably had no idea anything was happening

if you want the supporters trust or supporters clubs views or support ...then e mail them to find out ...again..a message asking for support of any demo on here might never even get to half the members of either group as many of them dont read messageboards

in my opinion , its not just ridsdale we need out by the way

I agree completely, as much as I love reading and sporadically posting here, we are very much the minority, at best a few hundred impassioned fans. However i feel thousands may feel the same way, i may be wrong.......... I would like to see a trust inspired demo...... leaflets is one way, another and one which is very powerful is the media and can be for free, do we have the contacts to get a big interview on the Friday before in the echo extolling the virtues of the demo....... we could even pay for a full page ad....... it's time for action, I truly believe it......... sack the board
