whats the view of the trust on the protest march at the boro game??

and your personal view and will you be joining us

Re: Corky

as a member of the trust I have not been sent any information on this planned protest at the boro game or the trusts views on any demos

if I do get asked my opinion my answer would be I fully support any planned protest against the way the club is being run and I am sure many others do too

I would imagine that the trust will only be able to make a statement on any planned protest once its asked its members for their views and the majority view is then voiced, as it should be

perhaps you can pm corky and he and the board can put it to the members ?

I would support and stand in any demonstration and encourage others to follow but it must be their choice, their will, their desire to want to be there otherwise its pointless.

There will undoubtedly be a demonstration on March 6th prior to the game against Middlesbrough, unless of course there is a positive change at the club before this date.

One thing must be made clear though...What is the aim of the protest...Is it to rid the club of all the board of directors and major shareholders? Just Ridsdale? Just Flitcroft...some of the board?

What do we want the demonstration to achieve? IT WILL CERTAINLY MAKE ME FEEL A BIT BETTER MAKING MY FEELINGS KNOWN TO THE POWERS THAT BE...BUT WILL THEY CARE????????

Our club is in extreme danger of Administration...we are an insolvent company trading at a huge loss and the only assets left are players...the sale of which will cripple any hopes of a bright future short term at any rate.

Ridsdale will be off soon enough with millions pocketted from his mismanagement of our club whilst we are left to suffer...ok his "reputation " will be fucked but hey he wil be sunning himself on some foreign beach somewhere sipping a Tequilla sunrise...laughing at us...he is having it too easy...another £700,000 today...media men banned...Annis cheque about to be bounced( you never know lol)....that is the way its looking...DIRE..we need a miracle in my opinion...

Baz,

So far, there has been no suggestion of any protest march other than on this message board.

I'm sure you appreciate that the Trust's elected representatives must act in accordance with the wishes of its paid-up members. I've just checked the Trust e-mail in-box, and so far no Trust member has requested or even suggested a protest march at the Boro game. However, if such a march or protest does happen, then I'm sure individual Trust members, including some members of the Trust board, might well take part.

My personal opinion is that demonstrations and marches are futile until such a time as they have a specific goal. Nevertheless, I wouldn't attempt to dissuade any fans or Trust members from joining such marches or demos if they believe that is that right course of action to take at the present time.

Cheers,

Dave

It seems the only way to go at the moment Dave to get the board to listen to us fans.

Personally, I don't at this present point in time. I want to see how Wednesday's General Meeting goes before reaching any conclusions about what the next course of action should be.
