Reduce the Over heads first by 50%, Ive done it before in 15 Business with up to a 100 Staff.
Go out to the people of SOUTH WALES ALL SUMMER, MAKE SURE OUR STADIUM IS VIRTUALLY SOLD OUT EVERY GAME BEFORE THE SEASON HAS STARTED.
Work 24/7 on the Marketing/Advertising So we have a good income from it, they are Crap at it and have been for 20 yrs.

If I continue I will have to write a book.

I'd drive forty miles West ask for an audience with Mr Jenkins and hopefully if he consented to speak to me i'd then find out how you get it right.

I would scrap the Academy Foundation Scheme and replace it with a Share Purchasing Scheme.

Fans would pay a minimum of £10 P/M and would receive share certificates every time they saved up £250. The money raised would be used to pay off debts and run the club.

Treat fans as customers? allow them some respect?

Swansea aint the club I would follow as an example! They dont own their own ground, they aint paid rent there for 3 years or their police bills, it aint that rosy down in gypo land! Their average gate is much less than ours!

1st of all you got to liquidate your assets, sell players, reduce costs, run the club more in the line of a coomunity club, supply schools with free tickets, get the kids interested and you are securing a future fan base, be more honest with the fans and involve the trust allowing for a non executive seat on the board, have a regular bi monthly meeting with supporters clubs, and introduce a wage cap but larger win bonuse, change the canton in to family stand, and finally make everyone stand and sing or you get a banning order :ayatollah:

f**k me i might be chairman now by thurs

1. Get the Welsh assembly involved and get advice and hopefully money.
2. Go into administration to rid us of our debts or severely sell our players in the summer, even if it means 2 years of relegations.
3. Get rid of all the present board.
4. New board with new ideas and money, based on love of the club and not for making a profit (Ridsdale out!!)
5. Use Merthyr as a feeder club.
6. No seats saved- First come, first served, that way all the singers will get together and the earlier you are in the ground the more you will spend putting more money into the club.
7. Low entrance fees to get the youngsters addicted to watching the City- They are our future!!

For a kick off the fans need a much larger percentage of the shareholding in the club because as it stands we have no voice at all. I.e. the fans need a representative on the board. Our thoughts and beliefs are treated with contempt by the current board and major shareholders. The articles of the club need to stipulate that an AGM is compulsory annualy
Overheads must be cut drastically i.e wages bill cut, players wages cut with an emphasis on win bonuses rather than a huge basic salary. If we can't afford the rent at the Vale then we need to find somewhere for the players to train more within our budget. Abolish the Premier Club idea it doesnt work. Somehow we need to be able to run catering side of things ourselves it's a big revenue earner on match days, we don't need Compass. How we would do that I don't know. No more flights to and from matches for the players and coaching staff unless it's a long trip. What's wrong with bussing it. If the board want to stay overnight at plush 5* Hotels, then let them pay for it themselves like everyone else has too. No more company cars and expense accounts. Cut the Managers wage, £800,000 per annum cannot be justified in Championship football and likewise for the chairmans wage and all other executives at the club. The turnover of the business doesn't justify the current wages bill. The stadium needs to be actively marketed for other events i.e boxing, pop concerts and the like. I would not alow Rugby to be played at the ground it has destroyed the pitch and so is not really much of a moneyspinner for us (does the rent from Cardiff Blues cover returfing of pitch and all other overheads for Rugby matchdays? I dont know, but my guess is we aint making much and are they paying us anyway?. Then you have to look at the overall staffing at the club. Are we overstaffed? I dont know. All I do know is the biggest outgoings the club has are the wages and they must be dramatically cut. Basically just as any family has to budget to live within its means so does any business. At the end of the day Cardiff is foremost a business and secondly a football club and needs to be run in an appropriate manner. Non payment of taxes can only lead to one ending - Administration. I hate to say it but Administratiion is what I believe will be the best thing for the club. Maybe then we will get the Malaysians in, people who know how to run successful businesses. They have a proven record. Our current chairman also has a proven record of f*cking things up, he's got to go along with all his cronies and hangers on. Theres probably a lot more that can be done but it's Sunday and I had a hard day and night on the pop yesterday and can't get my thinking cap on

Clear the deck of all big earners playing staff.
Eat into the debt.
Bring in a workable wage structure on and off the park.
Complete overhaul of the club staffing.
Get a fans rep onto the board.
Engage with the fans.
Move family section to Canton end.
Move away fans into the Grange end as per Ninain.
No season tickets for other side of Grange end, first come first served.
Better stewarding.
Get local businesses on board.
Possible share issue to allow income for clearing debts.
Revamp of matchday prices, especially U16's

The club needs an overhaul from top to bottom.
Adminstration would need to be considered but not the way I'd like to do it, but if needs be then so be it.

The only problem with that is I don't think it would be looked kindly upon.
Any association with them probably wouldn't go down well with FIFA etc, I think....
