When do we stop being "peaceful"?

Sun Feb 21, 2010 6:54 pm

Although a large scale peaceful demo at the Boro game will continue to get our message across, and I for one will be attending, when do we stop being peaceful and go back to some old school action?
If there was a large scale pitch invasion resulting in the game being temporarily stopped, but it was obviously a protest invasion and not anything else, would we get away with it?
It would have to be large scale so that people couldn't get singled out and banned etc but I reckon at some point this will have to happen. As long as Sky etc get the right end of the stick, the publicity would be immense.

Couldn't do it at the Jacks game for example, because it would only be seen as hooliganism.

The Palace game would be a good one to demonstrate on the pitch

Wasn't really thinking of an away game, but wouldn't rule it out.

a big flag with Ridsale out written on it and a sit down in the centre circle. I thought of palace away because it's a Sky game and he won't be expecting an away game for this to happen

IT WILL HAPPEN. But if it is the jacks game, a beer fuelled 5.20 kick off, it will get messy and the media will have a field day.

If things are not sorted then I think Crystal Palace away on 27th March would be as good an opportunity as any for publicity. It's live on Sky and Palace are already going through admin themselves. Shouldn't be as difficult as CCS to get banners in to the stadium. Take a big following there and it could stir things up a little. Then theres Swansea at home on April 3rd. A high profile game, again televised on Sky. Not a game at which any of us would like to protest but by then we may have no other option if we want to save our club. That's unless we are already in admin by then of course.

i reckon we should stop ridsdale entering the stadium when we play boro, it would send a clear message to the media sky etc that the riddler ain't wanted at our club.
