TWO REASONS WHY 'PROTESTS' WON'T HELP.

Sun Feb 21, 2010 7:58 pm

1. No shareholder or board member want Risdale removed as Chairman. He takes the flack, talks to the media, does the deals, keeps the creditors at bay, keeps HMRC at bay. Not one of them wants to do that themselves.

2. Up until now, he has made the major 'players' involved at CCFC, a lot of money, with bonuses, freebies, sale of assets etc, and again Risdsale has fended off all attempts by outsiders at getting to the truth.

I understand that some believe it's the only way to rid the club of this scum, but anyone wishing to succeed will have to change the opinions of a lot of people within the Club.

What are we meant to do? We're getting increasingly short of options but if we do nothing I, for one, will never be able to forgive myself.

What do you suggest would have more effects than a protest?

Can a vote of no confidence be made on Wednesday? And, if so, who can make it and who would/could second it?

To partly paraphrase a long-gone politician, ' Results dear boy. Results.'

Fans are rightly focused more on the playing side at the moment. Should results tail off, and we find ourselves well outside the play offs with games to go, then I think the rest of the board will capitulate to a combination of fan power, media criticism, and the realization that administration is the only option.

What, we're gonna have to have a trademark Cardiff capitulation and administration in order to rid ourselves of the cancer in charge of our club atm?

Sad state of affairs, and that is exactly why I'm joining the protests when I can.
To be totally honest, even if it has little effect on them, it makes me feel better and anything that does that right now can only be a good thing!!

He's a crook and he has to go.

Do you think murdering him is a better solution?

TBH honest mate you will need far more than those 2 reasons to convince me that protesting won’t help.
