Just had a thought about tomorrows EGM and Proxy votes. In most EGM's those unable or not wanting to attend, give their vote by proxy to the Chairman of the meeting to vote on their behalf in a certain way ie for or against. So what is to stop all the major shareholders, except those on the board, not attending the meeting but the motion for the sale of the land being carried in any event. They would then not be in the difficult situation of having to vote on any additional motions put forward ie No Confidence in the Chairman. This could then be easily defeated by the shareholders on the board, even with Steve Borley dissenting, and the major shareholders would not have to face the anger of the minor shareholders.
