Is There Going To Be A Vote Of No Confidence?

Wed Feb 24, 2010 9:35 am

The Trust have stated that they will not ask for a motion of no confidence in Ridsdale. Was that put to the vote amongst all the Trust members or is it seen as producing an untenable relationship between board and trust if the motion failed?

Well looks like Annis took matters into his own hands and got shot down. Seems like links between him and Borley are now untenable! Looks like this EGM has only soured relations between the fans and the board.

A few time Annis has held back information from Steve and said they were in confidence.

Looking forward to Annis forgoing this confidentiality when he gets back, gloves off, he made Annis look a fool and we know that isn't true.

Agreed Ben. The outcome is no surprise whatsoever, at least now all this nonsense about Borley being a hero to the fans will be realised not to be true. As stated before, to see Ridsdale bring the club to its knees is one thing, to see "one of us" be culpable in that, far more hurtful again. I feel sorry for Annis and can appreciate why he and others felt allegiance in him, even if I couldn't myself, but at least now we are all aware the whole board is responsible, not just Ridsdale. We as a group of fans have allowed this to happen and are only mobilising so to speak when it is already far too late.

I really wish that Borley is backing Ridsdale for the benefit of the club but this coinciding with Ridsdale accepting a loan from Borley with a decent rate of interest so that Borley profits from the loan seems a bit too convenient.

If Borley loved the club surely he'd have the loan at a lower rate of interest to avoid damaging the club financially any further.
