Im no legal eagle.....perhaps there is someone here that is.
Plenty of you bought ST's with the promise that the money would be used to purchase players and if we got promoted you would get your money back.
The offer didn't give the information we had several winding up orders against us........ that players future transfers was mortgaged out to non executive directors and how seriously in debt we were.
I am thinking of fraud as monies went elsewhere and possibly this offer was carried out while the Chairman was fully aware of the facts.
Could several of you approch the Fraud squad of S.W.P. and ask for the matter to be looked into?
Obviously this would be counter productive for the future of the Club.......but I'd love to see P.R. gone and we make a start on cutting costs with P.R.

I think that's the problem. Due to it being under the name of the club, he can't be convicted directly. I may be wrong and it is worth looking into. I certainly feel like we've all been financially bummed. I just hate the fact they put unnecessary stress on people to provide money at a tight time of year and even resorted to emotional blackmail. If you don't buy by this date then you won't get the discount! Then when they got rumbled they just went 'oh um, yeah, sorry'.
Sorry but that doesn't cut it for me.

I think find he can, this is taken from the CAB electronic system
Section 1 of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 states that it is a criminal offence to make certain false descriptions about goods which are supplied in the course of a trade or business. Section 14 of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 states that it is a criminal offence intentionally or recklessly to make a false statement about services or facilities. The Act covers descriptions which are made verbally or in writing, for example, in adverts or pictures, on the packaging or labelling. The description has to have been made by a trader (not a private seller) for an offence to be committed. As Chairman Ridsdale would have absolute responsibility for the actions of the company.
