Firstly, what's the big need for players to go out drinking in the city centres? I'm not famous and I don't bother going out in town because I have better things to do and know there's too much hassle to make it worthwhile. If I was famous I'd definitely stay clear.
Secondly, this just seems like a case of the police seeing Chopra, and getting a cheap trophy arrest. They don't say he was doing anything that the average piss head on a weekend night doesn't do.
Still, why was he out in Newcastle just hours after we lost to Barnsley in Cardiff?
