it now seems are capable of anything in order to protect their cash cow. Borley has shown himself to be a business man before a friend or Cardiff City supporter. The club have taken its fan base as mugs and cheated them out of £2.7 million in order to cover up their mis-conduct. The stadium costs have alledgedly risen to £67 million, when we were all told initially that they were fixed. Nothing adds up with the accounts at the club, only that money has disapeared and is being covered up by the increased Stadium build costs, when lots of bills are outstanding.
This board cheated Sam Hammam out of his ownership of the club, and men who stood shoulder to shoulder with him, and kissed his arse, then stabbed him in the back and ridiculed him, so it should have told everyone that they are capable of doing anything in order to feather their own nests, even ripping off their loyal fan base.
I don't know Borley, so have only ever built my opinion of him from his posts and his actions. My opinion of him has always been that he is a business man first, then a Cardiff fan and maybe, to many fans who know him, one of the lads. I think, its shown by todays proceedings, that many influential supporters have unfortunately got those 3 things around the wrong way.
I have always maintained that any successful business man worth his salt only ever thinks of the bottom line, thats what makes them successful after all. That is why the only way that we as fans will hurt them is by withdrawing our funds. Demos are great for galvanising support and passion, but it will do little to alter the boards mindset. If the fans do as much as possible to cut off any funding, that action has much greater effect, it will hurt us supporters, as the playing squad will suffer, but lets be honest, if the board are capable of spending funds earmarked for squad strenghthening , then how could the fans be blamed with not trusting them anymore with future funds. My own personal view is that administration is inevitable, I have never believed that Malaysians are investing, again this has been set up by the board to string sam Hammam and the fans along as I could never see a motive for them. In my opinion PMG and the rest have now had their return on investment, thats where all the money has been syphoned off to, anything else is a bonus. The players will be sold, to pay off PMG. Borley will still be there in some capacity,as he genuinely loves the club, but as like many business men before him, not as much as he loves making money.
So if your all willing to prop up this operation of lining the pockets of this bunch of unsrupulous business men then keep on ploughing your money into the club. If you want to have a chance of moving this lot on sooner rather than later, then you must not buy anything to do with the club any longer, no food, no drink, no programmes, no merchandise. If you have your season ticket then, thats done, if you have not yet done, or have not started making payments then don't. Ideallly, there should be no walk up crowd for home games. Of course this needs publicising to the wider fan base to make it effective, but Im afraid it is the only thing that has an affect on the board.
