If he had said he didn't back Ridsdale, he would have had to resign himself (unless Guy and the rest of major shareholders backed his stance). If he'd done what you wanted him to do, the rest of them would have hung him out to dry and we'd have lost the only decent man and City fan on the current board.
Please, everyone, don't start an anti-Borley witchhunt. He's in an impossible position and I'm sure he's doing his best, not for himself but for the club we all love.
Let's not have another personal feud between us either, Annis. I know you want the best for the City 100% but I think you got it wrong today.

I feel sorry for Annis that he was treated in this way but Borley had to be steadfast in his support. I firmly believe that things are moving in the background and that Steve Borley is playing Ridsdale lip service for a bit. Borley is a good man, and Annis is maybe sometimes a little over zealous due to his passion for the club. Thats not a stain on his character as Annis is without doubt the most passionate cardiff city fan I have ever met, but Borley will eventually lead this club out of this mess.

You are perfectly entitled to your opinion and your argument does have merit.
The trouble is Borley didn't give you an assurrance that he would back you and then change his mind leaving you high and dry. If that was his plan then he had ample oppotunity to tell Annis that rather than play him along and let him down at a crucial moment.
If you were Annis how would you feel?
Also it is my understanding that Annis asked the whole board not just Borley so that not exactly putting him 'on the spot'
Having heard all of this today I have great difficulty in putting my faith in someone who shit out when asked to make a difficult call

why are they wrong? just because they don't hold the same opinion as you or others, i would rather someone tell me nothing than tell me things just to make themselves popular to the masses. ANNIS i trust you fully and i believe that you have been used by Borely. am i wrong too CF11.

Even if Borley does save the day by bringing the Malaysians on board he was still WRONG to stab Annis in the back the way he did.
I can have no respect whatsoever for conduct like that no matter what an individual brings to the table.
