Did Borley tell Annis he would back him....

Or are we all assuming this. I've only been able to scan this board quickly and was just wondering if this is concrete or are people jumping to conclusions. I'm not disagreeing with any one just wondering as havent been able to get through all the posts!

I know Annis has said in the past that Borley wants Ridsdale out, and that if Ridsdale offered his resignation he would have more than accepted it, but whether Borley actually said I will back your vote of no confidence in the EGM I don't know.

But did he say 'if you call a vote of no confidence I will back you'?

He might want him to resign but that's different

I think that's the problem though. He may well have and still may want Ridsdale to go, but he knew he wouldn't have the backing of the majority of the board and the shareholders so it probably wasn't a good idea for him to agree with you.
If he was the only one who agreed with you that Ridsdale should resign then surely the rest of the board would want him off the board?
That's the last thing we would want is to lose him.

Annis, if he does most of his thinking with his head than his heart, then im afraid we can't trust him anymore than we trust PR.

How long before he's on the blower to you appoligising and trying to explain why he did what he did?
