SOMETHING SAM HAMMAM TOLD ME

Not long after he'd been ousted he said something to me and I could tell it was genuinely meant. He didn't absolve himself from being included in things that had happened, but he said the the only innocent people in all this were the fans.
Everyone else involved, was involved for reasons that differed from ours.

Some involved may have started of as fans, some may have got involved and become fans, some didn't give a flying f**k about football. Some people liked the accolades and "fame/publicity" and the kudos that went along with being a CEO, owner or director etc. let's be honest sitting in the directors lounge with people like Alex Ferguson, Wenger,Roman Abramovic and players like Giggs, Rooney Beckham would give anyone a buzz.

Others seen it simply as a cash cow, or an investment oppurtunity which was ripe for a bit of exploitation.I love Sam but let's be honest he seen in us a potential we had talked about for years, he seen the chance to feed his needs for "adulation" and to possibly make a lot of money from our progress. I had no problems with that, if someone can develop us and take us forward, then if they can leave and make a profit, the thanks very much.

But this lot have got me genuinely more worried than at any other time in my 4o+ years as a City fan, I feel they want a profit and don't care a jot how they get it, or how it leaves the club standing long term.

This lot will not let us go into administartion until they have taken the last possible penny out of it, then as far as they are concerned anything that happens, happens and f**k us. allegedly

Administration would mean a clear out and the club living within it's means. Might be the best thing long term

Love him or hate him, he cared about Cardiff City, was passionate about the club and the fans. (Ok a bit misguided when it came to finances !!!!) - But without his injection where would we be ?
