What does the future hold for CCFC?

Wed Feb 24, 2010 6:45 pm

Now I am not going to claim to know anything of the politics going on around the boardroom, so I won't even bother getting into it.

My question is, with all thats going on, what is going to happen with CCFC in the coming months/years.

What are the possible outcomes regarding our financial situation, takeover etc.

I mean, come the summer we are going to be short of cash once again as we will not have the usual season ticket cash pot as we will have spent the majority of it on previous debt. This clearly can't keep on going on and on, so where does it stop?

Our squad is pretty much threadbare EVERY year, we always sell high and buy low (Chopra aside) but never seem to fill the squad out to the extent we can have a fresh, competitive, squad all season long.

Not very good 4 the future. Even if we sell our top players, some people that are owed money our club have been told that the money will go to them once that player is sold. So if we sell Chopra for 4 mill, then the club wont have any of this money. GUY and Hall have been told that. I think all our players have been mortgaged off!!!
Perhaps we will will playing Newport soon if a major investor wont come in. To be fair, who is going to take over a business severely in debt with no chance of making profit.

It is incredible really to think we are in this position given the amount of profit we have made on players over the years.

I think that we have made the most money on transfer sales in the whole of the championship over all.

Are we just heamoraging cash away or what?!
