Unofficially yes but we must all wait for the official version from his lordship. You know that TLG fella,

The way I took is was that at the time they knew they had the debts, but were still confident of additional finances coming in, whether it be from the Malaysians or elsewhere.
It has been made pretty clear that whatever investment they were expecting did not come to fruition.
I don't think we can say they took the ST money knowing that they couldn't buy players, but they obviously knew of the tax bill

Yes he did and he apologised which is more than Ridsdale did. Honesty goes further than anything else in my book

Not really, he admitted knowing they had big debts to pay, they all were relying on the so-called investment which never materialised.

My opinion was that at least Flitcroft was honest.

Your description of Ridsdale as a schmoozer is spot on.

I aksed him how long the club could survive without significant investment and he just bullshitted his way around it ... income strams, confidential, blah blah.. with no answer, which to me says. We are on the edge.

i asked him why we didnt have the money for the House of Sport when he himself had said it had been raised when the stadium money was raised, and wasnt it ringfenced... answer... fit-out costs, athletics stadium, etc.. totally avoiding the question.

TBH i couldnt wait to get back to work.

Yes he did - and apologised for it.

He also acknowledged that it was "risky" - but was confident that the investment was going to be in place in order to keep this promise. We all know what happened next
