Borley is our only hope at the moment in my opinion. Unless Harris can get his act together and sort us out with some investment!
I still can't understand the hatred aimed at Borley today though.
He's told Annis that he would like Ridsdale to leave, and he would be more than happy to take over as chairman. That is fair enough, and I would imagine he still thinks the same.
His problem was that he was put on the spot, whereby he would be the only board member voting against Ridsdale. Where would that leave him? We all want Ridsdale out, but Borley standing up and saying he doesn't back the board when the majority of shareholders and the rest of the board do wouldn't really do him any favours. Would Ridsdale still want Borley on board if that were the case?
