one thing is bugging me

i may be totally wrong and no malice intended to him but
if joe knew the state the club was in during the on off contract stuff... does it reflect badly on him being a city fan?
Why try hold on for something that wasnt going to happen, run his contract down and go for peanuts?.
we havent got into this situation overnight... he must have had some insight to it, if he wanted to go which i beleive he did, the £6million from stoke would have come in handy!.. and i am sure he could have made the move happen
or on the other side of the coin, PR would have lined his pockets.
either way, PR f**k off and leave my and my 20,000 friends club alone!
