I am a big Fan off Darren Ferguson and he would be My choice of Manager, to take over from DJ.
DJ seems to get out manoeuvred by Roy Keane, can he beat Ferguson a young and up and coming manager.
If we beat Preston you will go up a bit in my asteam.
I will go for a 2-2 draw.
Have we got a plan B ?
But if we go 1 nil down we will get hammered.

I can't see us winning up there right now. We looked short of ideas and unenthusiastic against Barnsley. I hope I am wrong but we go through spells of ups and downs. Sadly I think we're entering a down. I'll be happy if we get 6 points from our next three games to be honest!

Simon, thats his opinion, but does he know about DJ's plan B.
I would love to beat Preston, 2-2 for me.

Thats unfair on Ferguson and yes he can 2 promotions with NO MONEY IN 2 YEARS.
DJ 2 Promotions in 18 years.

If I remember correctly it was Darragh Mac Anthony that promised Championship football in 2 years...and delivered.
Most of the team were already there.... it must be a huge advantage having loanees from Man Utd.
I bet they dont even pay the full salary either.
DJ always managed at a higher level. I think.
He's always got my vote and to be honest Annis......... what manager could do such a good job with such a prick of Chairman?
Thu Feb 25, 2010 4:31 pm
one thing is , i dont think ferguson would bow down to PR and FERGIE would strike up a positive relationship with the fans. this is what pisses me off with DJ
as far as the job hes doing currently with what hes got...no one could any better IMO.
but im still 50/50 over DJ

No chance.
Jones is a far better manager than Darren Ferguson.
I think we'll win 1-3 on Saturday, and we won't have too many problems.
If we're looking at any young manager it'd have to be Mark Robins for me. He pushed Rotherham back up to the upper regions of their league, and that's been continued by Ronnie Moore, and now he's at Barnsley who, compared to their time under Davey, are flying.
Thu Feb 25, 2010 4:47 pm
I agree with you Dave. I've been keeping a keen eye on Mark Robins for a while now and he's definitely the next manager I'd want us to have. He's so precise and detailed about everything whilst his focus and tactical awareness is second to few.
I wouldn't turn down Billy Davies mind!
Thu Feb 25, 2010 4:57 pm
Davies is a knob, and he's spent a fair bit at Forest, but he's spent well, and they've got a brilliant squad. I wouldn't say no to him or Ollie!
Thu Feb 25, 2010 5:09 pm
I love the fact Billy Davies is such a prick. I'd love him as our manager!
Thu Feb 25, 2010 5:24 pm
Dave Jones every time for me
Darren maybe young, but to me, anyone who is accused of hitting a woman says it all about them as a person
wouldnt want him anywhere near our club
Thu Feb 25, 2010 5:30 pm
I dont want a manager whos a spim doctor sucking up to the fans...... we've Chairmen for that role.

He never had any of "Daddy's Handouts" at P'Boro and got them consecutive promotions with hardly any £££.
Yes he has at Preston but wouldn't we love to have Welbeck and Matty James on loan from United right now!!
I'd still prefer DJ tho.

So the *accusation* is that counts and not the innocence of a person, eh?
Based on your logic, the vile and false accusations against DJ should say it all about him as a person?
Interesting.

Googled, so makes my post kinda pointless.
Fact is, damning over one incident, especially when that incident involved the highly emotional issue of child visitation arragements is a judgement call to make.
Would you want a player convicted of drink driving kicked out of the club, by the way? Just so we can see where the moral, ethical line lies?
