What is a Forensic accountant

Is it the old bill or private company people and have they been down CCS at anytime in the last couple of weeks. Just that i heard a rumbling about it last night but so much going on don,t know what to believe

Forensic Accounting is a wide area and to be fair to them they are not just involved in Fraud Allegations.

In the job I do (Personal Injury Solicitor) we come across them all the time. Direct Line (and associated Royal Bank of Scotland Companies) used a company called "The Topping Partnership" and I speak to them daily!

They are not Fraud people - although they do look for it. They are just people who have more understanding of Accounts than most people at Insurance Companies.

Really interesting.

in our case, WHEN we go into ADMINISTRATION, they are the guys who will work out exactly how much the riddler and the rest of the board have sucked from the club.

They will hopefully also be able to work out if any of it was illegal !!!!!
