A forum for all things Cardiff City

....... recently there is a shift towards pointing people out as trouble makers for airing their views..... this to me is a very worrying trend, what will we have next, season tickets taken away from people who speak out against the board, people thrown out for standing up and shouting their views, people arrested for demonstrating....... there are threats of police and solicitors for airing views on message boards and sending emails and texts.....
Is Ridsdale going to employ henchmen to quieten down people who disagree with how he's ruining (oops that's a freudian slip, I meant to say running) our club.
You are not a trouble maker for having a point of view which opposes the hierarchy, whether it's democratic or not.
He's turning Cardiff City into Zimbabwe.......

Apparently PR is loosing it and not only turning on the Fans, any staff who even try to stick up for the fans, their jobs are put on the line.

it's the jugular we need to go for....... I am not sure how, whilst I support the demo and the media coverage will be good as he is a bit of an egomaniac, I am not sure it will achieve anything, they can tough it out...... we need to hurt him and the board
I would like to see 500 or 1000 people on mass ask for their season ticket money back or he goes, there has to be a case

That could be the next step.

great post, i really do believe that PR will stop 'major players' in this demo from coming into the stadium in a way i hope it does happen as i hope it will alert the board that they have the wrong man in the job...

I think more focus needs to be put on this and perhaps other things we as fans can do. Annis and other prominent members have shown what can be done by organising the demo next week which promises to have a sizeable contingent and plenty of regional and national exposure. We need to be hitting those that run the club from every conceivable angle possible. That seems to be belatedly starting now with a structured protest, but this should be just the start. Those who might have the right and the inclination to get their money back should explore that avenue, the more that do so, the more it will set the cat amongst the pigeones so to speak. Even were it to be futile, it would nevertheless bring more attention to how the club is being run and how we the fans feel about it. I also feel we should refrain from putting another penny into the club in any form possible. Whether that me from match programmes to going to games at all, this is the only message that will make those who run the club sit up and take notice, inflicting financial pain on them. I know many will feel that is something they cannot do (not attending games) and I completely respect that and indeed admire your passion, but I do feel that for those of us who feel that strongly and are prepared to resort to such desperate measures, do it. Personal issues providing, I will come down for the demo on Saturday, but despite having paid for this seasons ticket, having torn it up in disgust, I shall be hading home to listen to the game on the radio. Some might say that it is cutting off our nose to spite our face, but the truth is we are already, and have been for quite some time, wholly reliant on external investment to solve our problems, not our money which is a mere drop in the ocean in the grand scheme of things. Us the fans and the emotive response of some have that we need to put our money into the club to give it a chance of surviving is folly as the ground only holds around 26k. So desperate is our plight, we would need a ground the size of St James Park with it's 50k+ capacity full to the rafters to give us a chance of salvation via conventional means. I would suggest it is a case of inflicting short term pain for long term gain and that such draconian measures are necessary and should be the next step from those of us who feel so strongly about the rape and pillaging of our club.

Salad providing you don't buy anything off the club taking up your season ticket seat won't in any way help the club financially.
Indeed you could offer an alternative argument that if season ticket holders boycotted matches the club would SAVE money on employing less stewards.
No go to the game but DON'T BUY ANYTHING.
