backs against the wall, this is what we want battlers

Hudson is a slow cart horse, he is not good enough for us.
I still want jones and ridsdale out.
I want city in the premiership - nothing else will do.

Thats been the difference.
So who do we give the credit to? Think we will leave it for another night. Lets just enjoy the fact we are back.

No pace sure, but most sides at this level have got a big bruiser up front and Hudson stands up to these guys, in fact in physical contests which are regular at this level he has come off better than any of Johnson, Purse or loovens. in the last few weeks he's got the better of Parkin, Adebola and Bentner, each of those have tormented the others in the past.
You'll be very lucky to find a centre half at this level who is dominant in the air and has pace. (Or at any level come to that). The criticism of Hudson has been extremely unfair and its lovely to see him shoving it down some throats with a string of quality performances in the past few weeks.

No coincidence either that the return of Kev Mcnaughton comes with 2 clean sheets.

You cant be serious, Hudson was immense tonight yes he might be a bit slow but his reading of the game and back to the wall attitude I would want in my side any day

I play full back on Sundays and base my entire game around Super Kev. He's awesome. I think his experience and ability has given our defence as a whole confidence. It's great to have him back. I also think Hudson has now had his bedding in period. Let's judge him over the next few months rather than the months we've just witnessed. Our defence will be more settled now so we should see a big improvement... hopefully!

Gerrard and Hudson were awesome last night, both got stuck in. Think McNaughton has made a big impact since coming back, but full credit to Paul Quinn who I thought had a quality game last night.
Also, didn't quite hear the words to it, but a song about McNaughton? Sounded really good. (To the tune of 'I love you baby')

i am no Hudson fan but he was excellent last night starting to look like a leader and starting to get stuck in. I am worried about Quinn lacks pace for a full back if Thomas had played for them last night i thing he would have had a torrid time.
