OF ASKING FOR THEIR SEASON TICKET MONEY BACK.

First of all they are NON REFUNDABLE and Second as long AS OUR CLUB HAS A FIXTURE LIST IN FRONT OF THEM AND ARE IN THE LEAGUE NEXT SEASON, THE CLUB HAVE DONE THEIR SIDE OF THE DEAL.

Didn`t several fans contact the police, who told them to go to trading standards..Anyone know how that panned out?

Without investigating too much we must have a case because of the marketing policy. I am sure you are correct with the small print of the general terms. However there are direct official statements claiming any money raised would be spent on transfer.

I was always sceptical that all the money would be spent on transfers....... however the very fact at the time of launching the campaign the club were under a transfer embargo which could only be lifted by spending all of the season ticket money on taxes illegally withheld by Cardiff City.......

therefore there certainly is a case that a judge would have to decide, i for one fully believe if you took it far enough you would get your money back.....

I also believe if 500 or 1000 of us got legal representation for our money back or Ridsdale's resignation the board would have to buckle because there is more than a good chance of winning the court battle

I'm going to be looking into this next week. A close friend of mind here is a prosecution solicitor and I am going to have a talk to him. I will have an idea of where we stand after this talk.

If it is a go then I'm sure a test case is the way forward. Evn more so I think this is a criminal matter so it could be quite interesting.

There is definitely a case of mis-selling which could lead to a criminal prosecution.

However, the mis-selling doesn’t apply to everyone who bought an early season ticket because the offer was staged. For example when I bought my season ticket in November I bought in on the basis of a 5 year price freeze only, so I have no case against the club for mis-selling on the grounds that funds were not used to bring players in.

However, anyone who bought tickets after there was an insinuation that the money raised would be used to pay for players in the January window, then they would certainly have grounds to report the club to the trading standards.

The problem though is for trading standards read Steve Borley in that they will give you umpteen promises of backing only to chicken out when it comes to making the call.

I am sure if we even got about 20 to lodge a single case against the club with a bit of media attention it would cause quite a stir....... also it wasn't an insinuation it was a promise, it was still on the official website last Sunday....... when I wrote to Ridsdale he soon changed the website.......

I'm not against you trying its just that I don't I could because the offer to spend the money on players wasn't part of the deal when I bought my ticket.

However, the vast majority of tickets were sold with that promise. That said the trading standards are f**king hopeless.
