these are the facts of the matter
alan whitley was dealing with the malaysians in the first instance and everything was going fine and we looked like getting a six million pound investment in november.
enter the glory hunting chairman who took alan off the project and tried to secure the deal himself to proclaim to the football world he was the saviour of cardiff city.
when it was time to talk about the clubs debts he told the malaysians that the club had an historic debt of 400k owed to the taxman which we all know now to be a lie.
Any one who was at the muni meeting when the news of the winding up order was broken by the echo could see that something was amiss as the chairman was ranting about the echo ruining the clubs future etc.
all this was confirmed when ihatealiens off this board produced an e.mail from dato chan showing that he knew nothing of the winding up order.
after persistent pressure the riddler's answer to why dato hadent been told was that and i quote "he dident ask"
i also found out some days later that he had been very selective in what he had sent the malaysians concerning due diligence.
The events of that day as revealed at the muni was the defining moment that the club fins itself in the mess it is now.
Those actions by our chairman who was obviously deceiving the malaysians to get as much money for his own personal shares is the reason we stand where we are today with an overpaid paper thin squad looking at a mid table finish or worse case scenario a relegation battle if we take a ten point deduction.
we can point the finger at other members of the board as much as we like but this chairman was alone responsible for stalling the takeover deal as he was the one being paid megabucks to ensure the investment was secured but unfortunately for us he was unable for even a single moment in his life be upfront and honest when it mattered most.
The only light at the end of the tunnel is that he has been totally removed from dealing with the possible investment now.
That is in the hands of another director who has been upfront and made the malaysians aware of the true financial position of the club.
Lets hope the next few weeks that we actually get that investment and rid ourselves of the parasite who is driving our club towards oblivion.
