"YOU CAN'T KEEP HAVING A GO AT THE SAME PLAYERS..

Sat Feb 27, 2010 6:49 pm

..THEY'LL JUST SWITCH OFF"

So said our Manager just now on Radio Wales.........

Just what exactly does Jones do for the £67,000 per MONTH that he takes from the club then?
- HE CHOSE to sign the players we have.
- HE CHOSE the size of squad we have
- HE CHOSE to have a squad with a monthly wage bill costing double that of Swansea and only just behind Premier League Portsmouth.

I am livid. He hides behind the "Feel sorry for me, we have no bodies and our hands were tied in the window" When the reality is:
- HE KNEW since "the autumn" that we had a transfer embargo
- HE KNEW that his(?) idea to spend all the Golden Ticket money on players was subject to us effectively winning the Malaysian Lottery
- HE KNEW that he had to work with HIS smaller and HIS more expensive squad than elsewhere in the Division based on THE FACT THAT his best mate Pinocchio Pete had overspent again......

Crying about it and using it as an excuse 6 months later doesn't wash 'Moans' you arrogant CCFC supporter hater.

In the same interview he even suggested we don't blame the board for our current plight - Words fail me, but I suppose with PR paying him £800k and gifting his missus a chunck of shares, no wonder he supports his partner(s) in crime

I wrote earlier that the ex-player bloke (Preston for some reason the cardiff one wasn't working) on CC Player was amazed that Jones was still playing 4 across the back when, at that time 2 - 0 down, Preston were playing a lone and very tired striker. He kept saying that we (Preston that is) would get hammered down the flanks if the fullbacks pushed foward to support. It sounded like Burke was skinning them but had no support behind or to the side. I don't know who he was but was giving a very good insight into what was going on on the pitch.

And to 100% clarify - the comment was made by 'Moans' with reference to the players being in the dressing room after the game and what he felt he could or could not say to them

This guy is an utter baffoon - £1.2million a month on wages and he's scared they might switch off if he bollocks them, as he can't drop them at the moment DUE TO HIS SQUAD SIZE AND POLICY to SPEND BIG TIME BUT AS A RESULT HAVE LESS DEPTH TO CALL UPON IF INJURIES OCCUR.

SPENDING A FORTUNE (THAT WE DON'T HAVE) ON PLAYERS SALARIES AND HAVING A SMALLER SQUAD INTO THE BARGAIN THAN MOST WAS ***YOUR DECISION*** 'MR MOANS' - LIVE WITH IT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE, PERIOD.

Rotten to the core,

Peter

Peter

these are the facts of the matter

alan whitley was dealing with the malaysians in the first instance and everything was going fine and we looked like getting a six million pound investment in november.
enter the glory hunting chairman who took alan off the project and tried to secure the deal himself to proclaim to the football world he was the saviour of cardiff city.

when it was time to talk about the clubs debts he told the malaysians that the club had an historic debt of 400k owed to the taxman which we all know now to be a lie.
Any one who was at the muni meeting when the news of the winding up order was broken by the echo could see that something was amiss as the chairman was ranting about the echo ruining the clubs future etc.
all this was confirmed when ihatealiens off this board produced an e.mail from dato chan showing that he knew nothing of the winding up order.
after persistent pressure the riddler's answer to why dato hadent been told was that and i quote "he dident ask"
i also found out some days later that he had been very selective in what he had sent the malaysians concerning due diligence.
The events of that day as revealed at the muni was the defining moment that the club fins itself in the mess it is now.

Those actions by our chairman who was obviously deceiving the malaysians to get as much money for his own personal shares is the reason we stand where we are today with an overpaid paper thin squad looking at a mid table finish or worse case scenario a relegation battle if we take a ten point deduction.
we can point the finger at other members of the board as much as we like but this chairman was alone responsible for stalling the takeover deal as he was the one being paid megabucks to ensure the investment was secured but unfortunately for us he was unable for even a single moment in his life be upfront and honest when it mattered most.

The only light at the end of the tunnel is that he has been totally removed from dealing with the possible investment now.
That is in the hands of another director who has been upfront and made the malaysians aware of the true financial position of the club.
Lets hope the next few weeks that we actually get that investment and rid ourselves of the parasite who is driving our club towards oblivion.

Steve - Top post and totally scary when in black and white. PR is seemingly so desperate to claim the glory that he's happy to fcuk the whole opportunity up, ultimately at the expense of his own chance of a hefty payoff......now that approach is deluded...... even for him!! - The guy really doesn't have a scooby. Had he left AW to it, he may now have the funds to pay his 'personal' liabilities in a certain company that has a whopping six figure bill to discharge to HMRC etc..... allegedly :D :D

Steve this begs the question though, why didnt SB back the vote of no confidence and then PG could have backed it too for their benefits and also the club's benefit and the fans too.
