Yes in one way because I loved his passion, but No because he didnt control the finances either.
But the real difference between him and PR is I REALLY BELIEVED SAM LOVED AND LOVES US.

One of the mistakes Sam made, was to not bring his own back room staff with him. He took on and trusted people who were at the club already and that back fired on him.

He should have brought in his own, CEO and financial director, but people who would not be afraid to stand up to him.

Saying that mind, even though I love the bloke, he must be a right awkward tw*t to work for.

surely this is time for him to relive his dream, ideal time, go into admin, invest a small amount of money and start a fresh next year.

Gwyn, you think people who stood up to him would have a long life expectancy at the club?

Ridsdale has patently not learnt his lessons from his previous cock-ups and I think it's unlikely that Sam would have changed his spots either unfortunately.

As mentioned probably the very worst thing Sam did to our club was to bring in Peter Ridsdale. I'm sure Sam probably feels the same way now.
