LETS GO DEVILS!

Doubt many on here have an interest in ice hockey at all? Cardiff Devils are playing in the 1st leg of their cup final tonight down the blue tent(Cardiff Bay) against Nottingham Panthers. The game sold out a few days before which is pretty good as we struggle to get 1700/1800 on most weeks. This games crowd is looking at around 2100 which is great. Good to see so many young Welsh players coming through and making the grade.

Hopefully a nice few goal lead going into the 2nd leg in Nottingham on the 9th March. We beat Nottingham away last night 3-2. We've one just a handful of times up there in god knows how many years! Quite a few of the Devils players have been down the city games this year and are hooked. Especially the imports from Canada/USA

I'm no violent person but 1 or 2 Scabs deserved a slap tonight, disrespecting the Welsh National Anthem then shouting abusing at us, kids, gestures at them etc.

Thought it was the city at times. Big crowd and cracked it seemed. The ref was 1 sided to be honest which didn't help. The ice hockey league here has 8 refs, we need some euro/US refs over here. I would pay an extra few ££££ to bring better refs who know the game in

Average about 1700 fans per game which isn't too bad. Atleast they have a wagecap etc and stick to it! The top leagues in football need the same thing aswell before the whole sport goes up shit creek!
