FAO Blackswan

Sun Feb 28, 2010 5:55 pm

You have a very tricky month ahead fixtures wise and add to that, you're picking up niggly injuries to key players that we've had to put up with all season. We won't be 7 points apart by the time we meet, but it wouldn't be such a bad thing us being a couple behind before that game. It wouldn't do us any harm to raise our game for once where you are concerned. Seeing as it's always your'cup final', it will be quite different for you this time around with 25,000 Cardiff fans there in April.

It definitely has'potential'

I read earlier Mal. Hopefully sense will prevail and you'll get off as soon as. Pathetic

the jacks are due a blip and i loved the way this blackswan claimed swans to be the best in the league when newcastle are about 15 points ahead of them

Re: FAO Blackswan

They play a nice tippy-tappy brand of keep ball i'll give them that, but like you say Murphy, it won't last

Nice try though eh!

I love it when you say 'its our cup final' very patronizing and perhaps a little truth in there somewhere but not as much as you'd like to think.

As for the 25000 at the CCC in April,i seem to remember this team coping pretty well with the 20000 at the more hostile Ninian Park last season, and im sure you'll agree we should have won. From what i've read on here the atmosphere now is a shadow of its former self whilst you played across the road?,Im sure you'll raise the decibels for the visit of us though,as its quite a big game for you too ;)

Regarding yesterdays injuries,Boddes was bad news yes,but we've got where we are today without him so not much will change there.Pratleys more of a concern but he seemed ok when hobbling off so im sure he'll be back in a week or so.

it's a big game yes but not as big as the 2 FA Cup Finals we've played in.

I have an endless list as to why it's more your'cup final'than ours, but thats another thread

Pratley will be sorely missed. Everytime ive watched him ive been impressed. He's definitely punching below his weight with you lot. Have no fear though, its almost a night game when we meet. The decibels will be healthy enough, and hopefully none of your coaches will get lost on the way in

Actually it is 3 FA Cup finals, 4 semi finals, 1 League Cup semi not forgetting the European Cup Winners Cup Semi. Add in a league runners up plus 23 Welsh Cup wins and that is why we are Wales Number 1

Re: FAO Blackswan

Pratleys potentially a premier league player and with a bit of luck can fulfill it with us,so your point of him 'punching below his weight' doesn't really make sense, unless of course you think he could play for a top half premier league outfit.

Back to your point of us playing you at the CCC in April and how daunting  it'll be for us,you need to remember that its just 3 points on offer and your merely another stepping stone for us on our quest for promotion 8-)

pratley will be ready out for a couple of weeks at the most.we won at derby in front of 30000 odd last week so cant see the crowd getting to us at cardiff theyre pretty tame down there these days .

8-)

They fear Pratts after his showing at the Liberty against them.

Re: FAO Blackswan

I think it will be alot more than 7 points. This game is going to be down to how many of our injured players we get back. Without doubt we have a better first 11 than the Jacks. I would put money on us turning the Jacks over if we can get them back.

No Blackswan you did not derserve to win at NP. We had 60% of the possession. A draw was perhaps the right result so stop crying over that penalty.

Joe Allens goal shouldnt have counted scotland was offside and ran in front of our keeper.

Dream on sonny.

Explain how you'd have almost double the fans we'd have at Wembley too ?,are you that great a club that the FA would give you twice our allocation or are you under the impression we wouldn't sell ours?

You should've won the game last year at Ninian Park?

How?
Did you watch the same game as everyone else?

A fair reflection on that game would've been Cardiff 6-3 Swansea.

You have your goalkeeper, the post and lacklustre finishing to thank for your point.
