Jones has done my head in at times with his inflexiable tactics and loyalty to some players, but being totally honest I do have sympathy with him for the way he has been treated.

For the want of Ridsdale's greed we could have had the funding in January to take us on and that golden oppotunity was blown through no fault of the manager.

The situation at our club might have changed considerably by the summer, that a change of management might not be an option.

unfortunatly the way pistol pete runs things, there's never any money, then a player goes for 5mil and it gets sucked into riddlers back pocket, never to be seen again, jones would maybe get 300k

look at all the players jones has brought in for a few hundred k and has had to sell, yer he's bought some duds, but you can't be perfect all the time

Is anyone really trying to say that any of those woud have been a mistake Personally I think even if Riddler had let him sign two of those we would be beating teams like Barnsley, Preston, etc and secure in the play-off positions.

I really think that people have to be careful in bringing the "DJ Out" mentality alongside the "Board Out" argument because, this season, that argument will only split the fans and we have to remain together through all of this.

I've said before, nobody else of any quality will be interested in replacing DJ at the moment, in fact any manager expressed an interest you would have to question their judgement That being the case we have no choice but to get behind DJ and the team (and having been to Preston I know how hard that is to do ) because those are two areas where there will be no change.

So it has to be "BOARD OUT" before and after games, but during we have become the 12th man that we always claimed we were at Ninian Park.

I still think that the only real way out of this terrible mess is to get to the Premiership (takeover seems as far away as ever). Administration is not the easy fix a lot of people presume.

exactly, if we had the money then dj would have brought quality players in, and things would be diffrent, as we have no money what can you do? its not down to DJ having no money to spend

its like a house, you wanna do it up the best you can, put all nice things, have the best, but when you aint got any money then you just got to do your best to scrape by

It probably is a 'fake' article since it doesn't contain any direct quotes, however the salary thing won't matter too much IMO. DJ must know he's been lucky to be paid so much, and so I'd be very surprised if he hasn't:

1) Been saving a lot of his wages

2) Planned that in a few year's time he might need to take a pay cut

Whilst DJ doesn't run away from challnges, I'd personally be quite surprised if he sticks around here being treated badly and effectively jumping through hoops - even for £800k/year.

I dont blame Jones, he will get a job somewhere with money to spend. I think that some of his buys have been great apart from a couple. If it wasnt for Jones, then we would not have sold some players off for a load of money which the club has needed so badly.
