I know I have never been a fan of his, but as you all know it was Terry Burton and Kennedy who stood up to PR after the game on Saturday.
Why didnt DJ back his player or assistant up ???
All they did was tell PR to get out and let the management do their Job, yet PR was able to Roast them.
DJ, your team every year is Gutless because you dont like players who have Backbone, I know you will read This as Tracey YOUR PA, shows and tells you everything on here.
If you want a team with a bit off backbone then you show them your behind them and not just content to take your £800,000 a year plus Bonus.
Also your not looking to go as other clubs cant afford you.

DJ IS OFF IN THE SUMMER.
Cardiff boss Dave Jones will review his future this summer after becoming exasperated with the club’s financial plight.
Now Jones has also been told by chairman Peter Ridsdale he must sell players and rely on free transfers in the close-season.
Jones has instructed scouts and agents to trawl the bargain basement this summer if City remain in the Championship.
And the former Stockport, Southampton and Wolves manager is getting increasingly fed-up with the constraints at Cardiff.
Jones, 53, has been in charge of Cardiff since 2005 and is on a one-year rolling contract.
I've heard len Ashurst is coming back.He along with the old Newport County manager Billy Lucas was the ultimate wheeler dealer.Len spent 10k on Jimmy Mullen and got us promoted.

Sorry I dont believe one word from Jones as, as long as he gets his £800,000 a year plus Bonus, he is going no where unless some one is daft enough to match it.
WELL DONE TERRY BURTON

Aren't both Kennedy and Burton old Wimbledon crazy gang boys? If so it must have hurt PR even more having 2 people with close links to Sam Hammam standing up to him.
Looks like someone set a trend last week

i lost all respect for him when he endorsed the golden tiket fiasco and when it went tits up
you never heard anything from him in my eyes he is just a spineless jelly fish who will just sit
back and take 800 000 a year and be ridsdale bitch
he is the manager of the team and should have stood by them what are the players going
to think of there manager now who allowed a numptee to get invloved team affairs and stood back and let him slate them
good for team spirit jones you are spineless tw*t

WELL DONE TERRY BURTON
What does it take to reduce his salary or get rid of him?
I assume as he is on a 12 month rolling contract he would have to be given 12 months notice to change the terms. Give him notice now that from the 1st March 2011 your salary will be halved, perhaps then he will walk.
Sacking is out of the question I suppose as he would be due 12 months salary. These rolling contracts are a nuisance, the only way to get rid is to give 12 months notice and how do you tell someone we are sacking you in a years time.
They will stop being motivated or go on gardening leave.

But do we all
know It's pretty clear there was an incident of some sort but not what actually happened.
There is also a suggestion that DJ took PR outside into the corridor and told PR to keep out of team affairs. That would be the right course of action in most people's book, arguing in front of players/employees is not the correct way of doing things in most companies/organisations. PR was his normal d*^%head self whereas DJ acted in the correct way.
One way or the other I think we are safe to assume that the days of the cosey little relationship are over

After all the trouble in the dressing room, PR and DJ had a private chat in another room and NO ONE KNOWS WHAT WAS SAID IN THERE.

But that's my point, if there was another meeting for all we know DJ could have been giving PR a well overdue kicking
I'm just trying to bring a bit of balance to the postings as at the moment we seem to be following a worrying tactic of also including DJ in our protests but, in my opinion, that only serves to divide opinion and weaken the main focus which should be on getting PR/The Board out.

True No one knows what DJ or PR said privately, But DJ should have stood by his staff in front of them in My Opinion.
Mon Mar 01, 2010 2:32 pm
Once PR started ranting, all DJ had to do was say "Quick word outside Mr Chairman"

It's a difficult one. Does he join the free-for-all and have his say infront of everyone and risk making the situation even more volatile or have his say out of earshot
It depends on the personality and his relationship with Kennedy and Burton.
He may well have relayed to them what he said to PR afterwards and they may well trust him enough (and both are pretty close to him) to believe he would have defended them. I manage 150 people and most of them would back me to fight their corner in a private meeting without having to watch it
Anyway, any news on what, if anything, happened in this morning's meeting

Didn't DJ tell Sam to stay out of the dressing room?

Anyone who knows me knows I was a big Thommo fan, and although he didn't score enough goals, its a shame that DJ can't take other people's opinions and got rid of someone who stood up to him. Thommo would be a perfect squad player for us at the moment, much better than Feeney, I just wish DJ could see someone else's point of view without throwing the toys out of the pram.
