I AM AFRAID IF THE MALAYSIANS DONT COME IN THIS MONTH

Mon Mar 01, 2010 1:54 pm

We will DEF GO IN TO ADMINISTRATION BEFORE THE SEASON ENDS.

If Borley cant pull it off I feel the Malaysians will now wait and get us for peanuts in Admin.

The problem is if after a certain date in March we go in to Admin, WE WILL LOOSE POINTS THIS YEAR AND NEXT SEASON

By the way the players all got paid Today for February, but thats the pot bone dry.

PR hasnt sent me My Cheque yet

We can't sell anyone until July and even then we wont get market value...we have March, April, May and June to get through or at a minimum of £1.2 million a month just under £5 million to find.

Corky is Correct where are we going to get £1.2 million a month from, plus all the high court cases coming up need paying ?

Can't say I've heard of a Corky on the staff or board of directors at City.

Where does he say he has the answers?

You said the solution would be sales, Corky said we have months to go before those sales can occur, thereby further substantiating the title of this thread, ie, We may be in administration without investment.

Therefore the only answer is investment or administration.

Sticky I wish I could be more positive, I want the same as you mate, I hate all this crap...We just had an EGM where the board and major shareholders could have put our minds at rest...they failed to do that.

Admin looks definate to me, I really cannot see any business sense why anyone would buy the club at present, and not wait for the club to fall into admin If the current owners are not prepared to put any money in, then I can't see how we can logically avoid administration. I hate to say it, but it would have been better if we had already gone into admin, at least we could be mirroring Crystal Palace, and surviving in this division to start again a fresh next year.

Admin looks very on the cards at this moment, SAD TO SAY ITS MORE LIKELY NOW THAN EVER BEFORE .

Did we clarify if Borley is off to Malaysia at the beginning of this month or next month?

Obviously the cut off date of 25th March for administration is a rather important date.

putting your sarcasm to one side sticky the 1.2 million wage bill per monthis common knowledge so there's nothing wrong with corkys assumptions.
where do you yourself think the money is going to come from over the next few months to keep the club going.
the money coming in from home matches is very limited and if we had no season ticket holders and an average gate of 25000 paying an average of £20 each the income from 1 home game would be £500'000 so that shows the 23 home games at that figure would not cover the wages.
What does the white haired liar do in times of hardship he employs another press officer and a stadium manager instead of getting one of the orignal ones to do both jobs

Steve Davies said it was March 8th so Borley has 2 days to come up with something before we go to court on the 10th,

Yo be honest Annis, I have always thought it likely, since the first legal threat form Langston, and the reaction from the board at that time, it was PMG who were threatening admin and thay spun it onto Langston. At that time, it showed what their tru feeling towards the club were, and that for some on the board, administration wouldn't really be such a bad thing. 2 years on and they have not invested any new money in that time but have continued taking, I bet they have recouped and made significant returns on their original investment already, the land aquisition being the latest. PMG will benefit from the sale of players and probably re-coup most of their £9 million. Borley will probably be the biggest material loser and of course other creditors, no surprise then that it is Borley who is having one last go.

According to PR we had the cash on 25 November, so I wouldn't take anything for granted

No my point was if the Malaysians are not going to get involved then the club would be honoured bound to enter Admin before the court case, same as Portsmouth did

TBH I had forgotton about that, unfortunately it is not due until June. There are several outstanding incomes to come in like FL prize money/FA Cup prize money and I assume the land deal cash.

I suppose it is feasible that we could make the summer if everything is cut right to the bone.

We definately will have monies coming in, Ridsdale said himself that here was some monies coming in almost daily...the question is will it be enough? We have £1.6 Million to pay the tax...anoth 700k for the kitchen people £83,000 a month to Langstons and god knows what else...but I am not putting your views down we could make it to July...ofcourse you are right...it just seems a lot of money to find to me.

The tax situation is confusing. At the EGM didn't Flitcroft say that £2.3m had been paid in wages and a similar sum to the tax man since the Golden Ticket Scheme was launched?

If so £2.3m would indicate 2 months wages including tax. If a 'similar' sum has been paid to the taxman then only £300,000 is outstanding. That said for the outstanding tax to have got to £2.6m we must have owed far more than £1.2m when the club was issued with its first winding up order in November.

It's this kind of confussion which doesn't help matters. Why couldn't the club say the wage bill is this, the tax owing is that rather than talk in riddles?

Yes Tony, it was £2.3m in tax and £2.3m in wages. Thats 3-4 months net wages Nov-Jan/Feb, £1m of 'old' tax and 3-4 months of PAYE from November on.

On the other points on here I reckon the tax bill we be paid, but March's wage bill is going to be a tight one. Money in from 4 home games, plus the Jacks pre-game sales, don't know what else is to come. As for Roger Johnson, we've had the payment for him . I'm certain the cap is going to be out to TG by the end of march, and after that it gets worse.

Its looking like Borley's trip to malaysia is the last throw of the dice.
