this will sound naff but my mum and dad had me young so didnt have everything , my dad was a chippy and he made me a skateborad, I allwasy remeber that and he made me a rocket ship out of wood. Had all the best toys and stuff as i got older but them 2 always stick in my mind.

christmas 1979 the old man got me a wales tracksuit,the admiral one with the green,yellow stripes across the chest and cuffs ,f*cking cracking stuff.

My last christmas with my Mum i was 7 - still believed in father christmas........ all i wanted was a set of beanie snow white n 7 dwarfs and a laughing bag.
I was up at 4 a.m. as happy as a pig - with this laughing bag - My Mum wern't too impressed and now im a mum i realise why lol probably 2 hours kip!!!
Memories are the most memorable thing I can have over any material things

1970 i had my first actionman. but i remember my uncle would bring me a box of plastic soldiers every time he visited, i had hundreds and would line them all up and have big battles on the livingroom floor.

Mine was a second hand Tomohawk bike. (A small version of a Chopper.) I wanted a brand new one and when my Dad brought home for me this second hand one. I was very disappointed. Now I look back and think how great my Dad was for getting me that bike, we were'nt well off and it must have been hard for him to afford it. You only realise these things when you are older.

how true that is mate, i found out my mum used to buy us christmas pressies then spend the next year paying for them. you dont realise these things when your a kid.

2 large binders or books whatever you call them full of Elvis original score (thats sheet music of his songs to those with no knowledge of music
) Must be worth a few bob now but would never sell.
