Maybe Borley Is Wiser Than We Imagine With His Postings

Mon Mar 01, 2010 10:40 pm

for me , he might well have stoked up the fire and knew what he was saying would do it all along

for all the talk of togetherness , a big protest this saturday , with the board and not just ridsdale getting the flak , may well set the wheels in motion

and those wheels may well start by the removal of ridsdale ( at a cost of course ) and leave steve borley in a far better position than people seem to think he is

he may be being portrayed as in the mire as much as ridsdale but somethings not quite adding up for me

I think maybe , its what was wanted all along

Sludge, I think you might be right he has fuelled the fire, but why pick on me, he let me down, not just me all of us.
I believe he hates PR with a passion.

Either spot on or way out.

Either way, good theory.

maybe he also knew PR was playing the game and wouldn't resign or get 'wound up' at the EGm as had previously been expected. Think sludge might beon to something

Either way I think his statement will encourage more to join the march...in my opinion anyway.

I feel Annis this will all come out in the wash and will show there is some logic in his madness. I believe SB has no time for PR, I mustered that from a debate on the official board, but needs to work in a way none of us will understand why we remain unkmowing of the boards inner workings.

I agree with Sludge.

The trouble with that theory is Borley has made similar pleas on message boards before and broadly received good support and backing. For this rather devious plan to work Borley would have to be convinced he was now a villain something he is not used to or need has much experience of.

Whilst attacking Annis could be part of this 'great plan' the nastiness which came through in his post suggests a bitter grudge rather than a calculated risk.

Sorry but I'm binning this theory, although by pure chance Borley could come out of the protest stronger but that would be more by luck than judgement.

Or Borley could be living in the same bubble as the rest of the board, immune or even care to what the supporters really feel about them and the club. Some plan, become and accomplice to fleecing the supporters of £2.7 million, under false pretences. Borley and the board could quite easily get rid of Ridsdale, he's only an employee FFS. I don't believe any of it, when Sam Hammam was ousted, it was nothing to do with the fans, the men in charge just squeezed him out, they could quite easily do the same with Ridsdale if they wanted to.

When I read Mr. Borleys post on the MM board I thought exactly the same thing.

Ash!!

Sludge, for this great plan to work, then it means either :-

1) Annis has known all about it and is faking outrage, which I don't find credible.

or

2) Borley has decided as part of this great plan to piss Annis off big time.

Sorry, just don't see it, though I agree something doesn't add up.
