Seeing as they are also shareholders of the football club and we have no other options at present
They're not going to want to step down unless they know there is somebody else to take charge, we don't know the real situation at the football club at the moment. Obviously it's sounding pretty dire, but maybe it isn't as bad as we think? We're obviously struggling for cash so it's no wonder we're putting off paying certain bills. If you could offset some debts in exchange for sponsorship or whatever they're doing surely that's a good idea?
All I will say is in my opinion, we have no hope of getting rid of the current board anytime soon unless anyone else is ready to takeover. People keep saying that there's plenty of businessmen that could do it for cheaper, and I'm sure there are but I can't see how anyone can come straight into a football club in crisis and turn things around. Not to mention the fact that the current board probably won't want anyone else in charge whilst they have their shares.

I'm sure there are a few creditors working on that right now, including HMRC and an administrator will quite likely be the person in the short term to take over the financial reins at the club. The writs will be flowing in after the weekends publicity. The true extent of Cardiff Citys debt will soon become very clear. The money isnt there to clear all the creditors debt. If it was those debts would be paid by now. Are we insolvent? I believe thats a question that will be severely tested at some point in the near future via the High Court.
