the ps3 bug thing

the date on my ps3 went to 01 01 2000
the other day so i changed it. Then i found out about the bug

but now it wont play games or dvds tidy, anybody had or having this problem

I've avoided going online recently because I heard about it. Haven't gone back online yet. If you check the PS3 forums around the net you should find an answer to your question. I can guarantee you're not the only one who has had that problem.
