WEST BROM PROTEST

Postby BigGwynram » Wed Nov 25, 2009 7:24 pm

They up to their old tricks, I hope to speak to Vince about causing maximum but legal chaos, possibly we should target several areas and protest at teh same time, they have to cover each area with Police, first aiders, fire fighters etc, so lets hit the Council office and picket all the workers leaving at 5pm, also demonstrate outside the West Brom Police station.

We should also refuse to spend any money at West Brom ground, but doing things like ripping up newspapers into thousands of small pieces and letting them scatter all around the ground may cause them chaos and loads of work, but surely not recommended.
I just hope people don't do stupid things such as setting of fire alarms and making hoax phone calls that disrupt West Brom football club, now that would be really childish.

I thihk the best idea from Gwyn's post is to make sure nobody spends any money in the ground or buys a programme etc. so please spread the word and hopefuly we can get some positive publicity out of this.

Definately dont buy any merchandise or food in the ground. That would hurt.

Another idea which would take some organising is to arrange for say a number of your supporters to enter the home supporters stand. Say the stand next to the away supporters. Obviously this would have to be arranged with the home supporters themselves so would take a lot of planning but if the Baggies supported us on this I'm sure it could be pulled off.

We have been allocated 1,300 from a figure of 2,700. Thats a shortfall of 1,400. Could you image that 1,400 sitting next to the away supporters. What a picture that would be. Never ban a City fan.

to get tickets in the away end is a non starter, NO TICKETS are on general sale from West Brom unless you have qualified by going to previous games this season, I know because I have tried I did think I would be ok because I live in Gloucester but no chance

Too late now I would imagine, but a huge banner would have been good to display before or during the game.Hopefully the TV camera's would pick up on it.
