TAX BILL WILL NOT BE PAID

Fri Mar 05, 2010 9:24 pm

NEXT WEEK.

I have just taken a call to say that my thoughts about the tax not being paid were right and that I was correct about the players being paid late as PR has used the money they had for the TAX to pay the players.

The club will be approaching the TAXMAN with a proposal of a payment plan, which is solely reliable on Borley having a productive meeting with the Malaysians.

Not the best strategy really considering we have failed with TAXMAN before.

f*cking hell.
I wouldn't be surprised if HMRC tells us to get fucked and winds us up.

Administration is most certainly inevitable, unless the Malaysians pull us out of the shit.

Not accusing you or your source of stirring it but I hope for all our sakes this turns out to be false, Carl or we really are drinking in the "Last Chance Saloon." HMRC are playing hardball with Pompey - if we can't show we're viable, it could be liquidation.

Re: TAX BILL WILL NOT BE PAID

Carl sorry fella but I really can't believe that - I think this is a counter show of hands to get the doubters on the march - Wednesday will arrive and we will pay the bill or we will go in to admin Tuesday - nobody is stupid enough (even on our board) to go in to the last chance saloon without the cash.

Re: TAX BILL WILL NOT BE PAID

i can confirm the players were paid 5 days late,

Re: TAX BILL WILL NOT BE PAID

Read my thread about Ridsdale lost it and you will see the evidence is there, he says he used the season ticket money to pay the players not the tax bill, I said to him you will come back to us fans to bail you out and he did.

Look at the thread where Annis ask what date do you all think PR will be gone and I state in there that I believe we will go into admin next week unless there is investment, as there is no money.

I also told you all today the players wages were 5 days late.

I am gutted to have a phone call from within the club to say it is all true.

I cant and wont try to force anyone to believe what I say but I will say this, as a city fan I have always wanted to hear every story linked to the club, good or bad, and when I do, before I came here as a mod, I would text my friends and tell them exactly what I hear as I hear it, if I know then every city fan should know, I am only passing on the info i get told :ayatollah:

and if the investment comes in would you want this person to still be out of a job even though they are the good guys keeping us informed :?:

If things were this bad surely they would have started selling the season tickets earlier. The club don't sound like one that are desperate for cash in my opinion. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but hopefully this isn't true!

That would mean there would be around a £10m shortfall

I Governor, First of all it wont all be paid, second I saw what you did after posting this message, you went straight on the ccmb and slated this FORUM and ALL ITS MEMBERS

Re: TAX BILL WILL NOT BE PAID

Annis, first of all I did not slate ALL the members on here, I use both boards as it is always interesting seeing different opinions, but, in my opinion, this board is always slating members of Mikes board, why is that? we are all supposed to be city fans, I don't see many from Mikes board having a go at this board, apart from that idiot, rob de bank, it's all about opinions, but apparently it seems there are only a few on here that don't mind people having their own opinions, maybe I am wrong, but that is the way I see it. As for the tax issue, I have been told it will be paid, we will have to wait and see. Good luck with the march today, :protest: although, I want to see the city board gone, what happens then? Igov

PS, PR was wrong putting out yestedays statement

IGOVERNER, I agree that we the fans should be united but it really does'nt help coming on here saying I am stirring, I, as I have said many times, am passing on the info I am being given and the fact it comes from within the club gives me geniune reason to state it will not be paid. I have not said there wont be an agreement with the HMRC but the club are not settling the tax bill in full as they do not have the funds at present.

Yes PR was out of order yesterday as he soon realised
