Ross in Boss

Sat Mar 06, 2010 9:12 am

Buying 3 pairs of jeans in Boss in town yesterday whilst sporting a new large tatoo on his arm (covered by a plastic covering).

Obviously not short of a bob or 2, unlike the printers and other creditors

Not sure what your point is. I'm glad the players are getting paid. I know it's very bad other creditors are getting paid, but if I was on Ross' wages, I'd be shopping in Boss, not Primark. And I'm glad you can afford to shop in there, too   :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I can't shop in Boss they don't stock ladies clothes and even if they did I wouldn't pay those prices.

I would rather they paid the tax bill than the players wages this month. I am sure Ross could have survived without 3 pairs of jeans this month.

I can see your point but at the end of the day its his job and he should be paid for it. Would you like it if your boss came in and said "we got some bills to pay so you will have to go without this months pay"

Exactly. I'd say, "pay me and you'll get me to do some work". I expect the players would do the same and, if they didn't, we wouldn't have a team today, if we don't have a team, we don't have a game and, if we fail to fulfill our fixtures, we get kicked out of the league

Just hope his arm doesn't take a knock today and can't fault him having a spree on clothes - well he can't buy a new motor!

BUT yes it is good to see that the players are getting their wages in all this financial gloom!
