FAO OF THE TRUST

Sun Mar 07, 2010 1:47 pm

Right we did Our Demo and despite calls from one committee member to try to stop it and others from the committee supporting it and would of backed it totally if it wasnt for one person.
I was a member and have now resigned, so have many others, WHY DIDT YOU ASK THE MEMBERS TO VOTE, THE MARCH WAS ORGANISED OVER 3 Weeks ago.

Please be honest now

How actual members have you at this moment ?
Take away all those who have NOT RENEWED.

How Many different house hold addresses have you got ?
There were 5 Members from My house, 3 from another mates and 6 from another mate of mine all not renewing.

OUR NEXT MARCH WE HOPE WILL ATTRACT 5,000 IF THE CLUB DOES NOT START TELLING US THE TRUTH.

Whats the TRUSTS NEXT PLANS PLEASE ?

I am not being funny to the Trust,I just want answers.

Annis, I think you may have jumped the gun.

You as a member can ask the TRUST a question any time you like and actively seek answers.

Now elected TRUST members can look at your request and state.......sorry he's not a member we cant give you the info. you require.

Anytime I have a question for the TRUST i e mail directly and get a response within 24 hours.

Re: FAO OF THE TRUST

I'm confused.

Forever Blue wrote:Whats the TRUSTS NEXT PLANS PLEASE ?

I believe the Trust are aiming to speak to the club/board?

The Trust have been doing a good job IMO, and I'm not sure why there are hundreds of people (on CCMB and this board, etc) criticising the Trust and TLG when TLG is just expressing his personal opinion?

The Trust want what's best for the club, as do the people who marched, as does TLG. We're all Cardiff fans :ayatollah:

(I know you aren't being funny towards the Trust Annis; I'm just confused why everyone is arguing over one person giving his personal opinion)

Tristan, Corky,Keith and Tracey do a fine job for the Trust and I feel I could work with them, without being slaughtered.
I just feel now is the time to be on a UNITED FRONT AGAINST THE BOARD.

Reading the Trust bit in the programme, intimates someone has been appointed to do community work for them outside of elections.

It's somewhat ironic that someone having questioned the aims of the march seems to believe the way to go is a meeting with Ridsdale. Guess that'll work? Maybe Ridders will have a conscience attack and repent?

The leader of the Dons Trust (Wimbledon) - Ivor Hellor - used to lay down in front of the aways team's coach to stop it leaving Selhurst park after the match! He is no hooligan and now commercial director of AFC Wimbledon.

The trust needs leaders who are respected by the supporters not just paper pushers who are frightened to do anything remotely risky.

When I had an argument with TLG about this very same matter last week he explained that only 7 members had contacted the Trust about the march 2 in favour 4 against 1 undecided.

Therefore the Trust followed the 'wishes' of its members by not backing the march but recongising the right of those who want to protest to join the march.

At first sight TLG is correct he didn't have a mandate from the membership to back the march (although when the Trust Board's individual preferences were taken into account he did). But that's not the real point, the real point is the Trust didn't canvus the opinion of more than 7 members.

While the excuse the membership can't be consulted on every issue is fair, that excuse doesn't wash on something as important and fundermental as a fans protest march (which included Trust membership) against the clubs board of directors. Indeed not only is it alarming the Trust didn't consult with its members it is of further concern that the membership were unaware there was an alternative where they could contact the Trust by email to express their views before the Trust would back the march.

That is piss poor organisation and smacks of excuse making in order to duck a hard call.

I am a Trust Member and plan to continue to stay a member because I believe in the concept but whilst I'm a member I will canvas for change.

However, in my honest opinion the Trust has botched it's first real call to arms. It now needs to review how it engages with the membership as well as looking to find a strong leader who will make the hard calls, otherwise it will fold.

Re: FAO OF THE TRUST

So basically, do what the Trust leaders want, the members have to be the ones actively lobbying for action?

Wow.

No wonder the Jacks Trust are wondering what's going on with ours! I give it 2 years before imploding.

Imagine if they had backed it, I know Ridsdale would off stopped them having half a page in the programme, but their Membership might have doubled.

AGREED!

Firstly, I made no calls whatsoever to try and stop the demonstration, as you well know.

Secondly, you didn't resign from the Trust. Your membership expired in early-January and you failed to renew it.

Thirdly, nobody has resigned from the Trust.

The Trust's board didn't ask the members to vote on the march because there was no need. It was not a Trust-organised event and it was obviously up to the individual members whether they wanted to march or not. Many did, many didn't. A vote wouldn't have many difference.

How many members do we have? Around 850 if those who haven't renewed yet are taken out of the equation, but I'm sure, or should I say I know for a fact, that plenty of them will renew.

How many different address have we got? No idea.

You say you are hoping to get 5,000 for another march. Good luck with that. Will you be charging them £12 for the privilege?

What are the Trust's plans? As regards what?

Yes I didnt renew because I resigned, by not renewing.
Dont laugh we will get 4-5,000 for another march if needed.
I would like to know how many different addresses.
No Serious, OUR Club as you know is near Administration if The Court cases are not sorted and many bills paid.
What the Trust doing, asking etc.
Are you backing Peter Ridsdale or are you standing up to him ?

Can't understand why Annis would want to charge everyone £12 to go on the next march - why would he do that??

How is another march going to stop us going into administration though?

I think yesterday did well to show the point, and publicise the problems but surely now we need to help come up with solutions and try and save the club rather than keep protesting?

We need to help save this club together

To be fair I always thought TLG was a bigger man than having to resort to petty comments like that

A little disappointed.

It has to be worthwhile keeping the pressure on even if its just to keep that lot away from laughing at us. Not only that these people have reputations to think of.

How does it look for not only Ridsdale, but PMG and Borley to be part of a corrupt board? They are businessmen with interests away from CCFC in South Wales. Being seen in such a light could hurt their own business.

That said I fully agree a time is approaching where solutions have to be found. We can take the piss out of the board but that won't secure the future.

where did he get the idea you was going to charge people? as if ! you cant charge someone to walk the streets :D

Re: FAO OF THE TRUST

TLG you did not support the march and that's your decision i respect all opions.

Just a few questions for you/the trust

What is the stance now we know the tax is not being paid this week?

What stagergies are the trust working on at the moment regarding the current status of the club?

Do you feel you have been taken in by Risdales spin/lies?

If the situation continues will you support the next protest?

The fact that Annis was saying he can get more people than the trust have I think.

The fact TLG was making i'm guessing is that a march is free, whereas joining the trust costs £12. Probably easier to get someone to do something for free

If only Annis could try and get all those on the march to join the trust we'd be in a better position. The bigger the trust gets the better in my opinion

Let's get everyone on here to join the trust :ayatollah:

Annis knows that a lot of people listen to what he says, so by slagging off TLG/ the trust/ Borley / whoever a lot of people tend to agree and share the same opinions.

The last thing we need is for a divide between the fans, you said it yourself Annis we need to unite as fans. Let's stop this anti-trust stuff and try and save this club

Not strictly true for me, being a soft touch I made donations to both marie currie and help the heros, plus Billy the Badge sold me another pin badge I didn't want.
