Representatives of the Trust meet with representatives of the club on a very regular basis. Naturally, we don't send out reports to the members of every meeting we hold. We only do so if there is anything concrete to report.
In answer to a question on Mike's board about the latest meeting, I posted the following:
"Peter Ridsdale telephoned me on Wednesday morning after reading an Echo article in which Keith Morgan and I were quoted. He asked for a meeting with Keith, myself and Tim Hartley to discuss the current situation. His preference was for late on Friday afternoon, but two of us couldn't make it then, so the meeting was scheduled for 6:30pm on Thursday evening (Ridsdale had been in London all day).
"Gareth Davies, the club's Head of Media, was also present at the meeting. It lasted about an hour, had no set agenda, and proved to be little more than an exchange of views regarding the current position of the club and how it has got into such a mess. We are meeting again shortly, when a more formal agenda and list of questions will be drawn up, but no date has been set yet."

Just out of interest what were you quoted as saying in the Echo?
I think that's the quotes he's referring to. I may well be wrong thoughDave Sugarman wrote:Dave Sugarman, membership secretary of the Supporters’ Trust, said: “The current board lost a lot of trust and credibility among fans with the Golden Ticket offer.
“Very few supporters trust what the club’s hierarchy are saying.
“I would have thought anyone who was going to renew for next season would have done so before Christmas and, given the club’s current financial situation, I can’t see supporters buying tickets now.”

Hiya mate! Alright? wrote:Baz, I'm a member, it's worth joining as the more members it has the more power it has with the club although, I must admit, I only joined recently in reaction to recent issues at the club. As they are an official organisation, they have to tread a lot more carefully than Annis, but their agenda is the same. Would be unfair to look at the Trust only in relation to the current situation as they have done a lot of good work in advance, I do feel they have been a bit slow to react to fan's current high emotions and have been over taken a bit by this MB on this issue alone, but I would recommend joining so you can have your say.

To be honest, not a great deal of new information came out of the meeting, so it's as you were really. Ridsdale is still referring to the current situation as a short-term problem, and I sincerely hope he's right but I don't share his confidence.

nothing comes out your meetings.... you get mugged off. thats not a slate but your current board of trust has no experience apart from a few pen pushers liking the limelight, sad to see Corky go, he was the rock.

As the great Harry Enfield once said......
Better to be on the train pissing out onto the platform, than standing on the platform trying to piss into a passing train
