are we allowed to discuss this now Annis or is it a subject not permitted? Just found what u might call an anomaly while reading a few articles and quotes etc

Unless there's anything libellous I don't see how there would be a problem.

I think we should talk about it, but refer to it as WH Smiths, he so stupid he wont realise if he is monitoring the board (I am sure he is, hiya peter
)

ok just found this interesting. 2 different articles, one from TNOW on 30/5/2009 stating Cardiff's latest set of accounts showed WH Smiffs were paid £325,000 by the Championship club in
2008 for 'consultancy services'. and the next day in an article about WH Smiffs
on wales online Ridsdale states “On advice, the company was therefore liquidated on April 22, 2009 having received no further income since
October 2007. I wonder if these conflicting dates are significant

I think Keith since62 may help us with this. He's the man with his finger on the pulse
Badly worded article by TNOW or something significant? I dunno!!

The last accounts would have covered the period May 2007 to May 2008.
Therefore it is perfectly reasonable to assume that a payment made in October 2007 wouldn't appear on the accounts until May 2008.
So I wouldn't put too much sigifigance on those articles or dates

all the stuff about WH Sports is in the public domain so discuss, where is TNT

The Riddler has threatened lawyers and police to just about anyone who has disagreed with him at one time or other
Again I wouldn't take too much notice, as you know he's a wanker.

WH SPORTS WAS JUST SET UP TO LAUNDER MONEY AND ESCAPE THE TAX MAN (allegedly)

Hmm.
You do realise such companies are perfectly legal under existing tax legislation, right? The IT consultancy world would collapse otherwise.
The issue is that Ridders seemingly has mismanaged something incredibly simple. I suspect he simply drew the dividends without grasping the salient point they come out of profit, not income.

Wouldn't you be more worried if he suddenly found the cash to pay his debt?
Mon Mar 08, 2010 12:31 pm
He's offered them clocks instead lol

Who would have thought it
I have always been amazed at the arragance of the man setting up an expert 'consultancy' firm to advise sporting clubs on how to run their finances.
He left Leeds with debts of £80-100m, nearly destroyed Barnsley, put us on the verge of liquidation and achieved that feat with his own firm.
Even now he touts himself on Talksport as some kind of financial guru.
I would honestly like to know how delusional does someone have to be before they can be sectioned under mental health laws?

I'm not sure Alister Darling would like Tax Avoidance discribed as 'legal' but I get the point

Tax is always a game - HMRC try it on.
