The negativity around the club has been really depressing for any cardiff city fan recently. I understand the frustrations of many bluebirds fans at the moment and can understand the need to protest with the worry about the future of the club.
However, do anybody think Ridsdale will come good for us? I still think there is a chance, i am not giving up hope yet. I am not a big fan of the bloke, however when he come to cardiff i believed in him, believed in him to rebuild his reputation. If ridsdale had not come to the club, do you think we would have had the stadium?. I know that we were in huge debt with Sam Hamman and on the verge of administration on many occassions with no stadium or any future potential. At least ridsdale has got us the stadium and got us a few more years to try and get investors?. I think without the new reign at the club we would not have survived up untill now and would have gone bust a few seasons ago, that is my honest opinion.
I think Ridsdale cant win, as much as he does for the club, he cant win. I know the lies and the tax bills is cause for concern however i think as cardiff fans we have been kidding ourselves for years that we were going to be debt free and have a bright future. Ridsdale took on Hamman's debt and to try and secure the clubs future ie-new stadium-training facilities has had to get further into debt- ie stadium cost's. How can we expect the debt of the club to have been dramatically reduced when we have bought a new stadium and tried to get a squad capable of getting promotion?.
Im not defending ridsdale, i just have not given up hope yet of us coming through this bad patch. I seen this coming a while ago, not being able to pay debts straight away etc, however i think in the long term we will pay them and someone will take over the club.
As for the squad, mc phail is due back for saturday, i think if the lads can play like they did saturday, we wont go far wrong from now untill the end of the season.
I just hope cardiff fans get what we deserve in the end- a stable club who are financially sound.

I think the biggest mistake the club has made is a complete lack of transparency. with the easy access to media and people on the inside of the club you can't keep people in the dark to teh degree they have tried to. On top of that the season ticket fiasco will leave a bitter taste for along time for many supporters.
I think it is best he walks away as soon as it makes sense for the club to let him do so. You only had to talk to any Southampton fan to know the Steele investment was a complete pile of bull
