This was always likely to happen as soon as Chopra was signed. Ross has had his nose put out of joint by Jones complete refusal to even consider playing Ross up top, irrespective of how well he plays or poorly Chops plays. It doesn't excuse Ross, he clearly should have kept his head down and shown his versatility by turning in top performances from out wide as he did up top predominantly last season, but we are all human and should Ross feel a little disillusioned, that is down to Jones.

Ross threw his rattle right out of the pram when we singed chops and IMO when chops is on form ross is not fit to lace his boots (i might get shot down for that). This season ross has come back what looks about a stone over weight and has not looked very interested all he seems to want to do is fall over and try and win free kicks. On this seasons performance we should have sold him in the summer.

Chopra is close to the biggest waste of space i've ever seen at this club in over 45 years.

He bangs in goals for fun for 6-8 weeks, then after that you can bet that almost any other player on the pitch is going to score before he does. During which time he can't hit a barn door from 6 feet.

I agree with you on that he has good and bad spells (they normally last longer) but when he is good there are not very many better than him in putting the ball in the net.

seems like the situation has had an effect on the players, all the fighting spirit has gone, seems like they cant be arsed.

Lets hope that McCormack is upfront on Saturday, he hasn't really had a run there this season. I hope he plays so well that he keeps Chopra out of the side as he has dried up a lot in goals lately.
