Its a worry, but I assume he was in contact with them before he went and they could have said no prior to a trip like that? So hopefully!!!!!

Could be lots of last minute frantic phonecalls from the Riddler to Borley then reducing his asking price for Cardiff City shares minute by minute  Will he blink and take a low offer or let us go into admin?

so Im guessing then that Ridsdale is gonna try and stall the taxman while Borley tries to negotiate a short / long term deal ?

Well PR is going to try and delay the Tax Man and Borley is out in Malaysia begging them to either invest more now or pay the wages to the end of the season, in return for what I dont know yet ?

Coz he forget to tell them about the tax  and other things  but mainly the tax. Trust , honesty and honour is everything to these people. I am surprised they are still here to be honest.

I think we all know the answer to that one.

However, it's the future we need to concentrate on. I was furious with Borley for the way he acted at the EGM, but in all honesty he would seem our best hope of avoiding administration.

Steve, admit this they respect Borley, but will have nothing to do with PR, also it is 99% about investment :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: BORLEY IN MALAYSIA

so if the Malaysians are our last hope and surely all the board and major shareholders know this and knowing that the Malaysians dont want to know Ridsdale , why then was the vote of no confidence at the EGM dissed ??

Knowing our luck the only thing to come out of this trip will be the establishment of CMB (Malaysia) Ltd

£1m pay off is the simple answer.

On the bright side if Ridsdale botches today and we go into admin, he can be removed for nothing. :D

Tony, Annis said to me last night about a CVA which is a watered down version of administration. Will this arrangement mean the nulling of contract just like Administration gives?

So it's basically Borley sent / invited on a begging mission; some bird representing the club, I;d assume a legal person, claims investment will be made, just unable to prove it.

Who here thinks the Malaysians may be somewhat pissed off at such a pathetic attempt to force their hand into investing?

Very well noticed.

The question, unanswered is thus, were the Malaysians aware their "investment" which appears to be by no means guaranteed, would be referenced IN COURT as part of the clubs defence to a winding up order being granted? And if not, why the hell would they want to invest in a club which, yet again, has taken liberties with them?

IF they were aware, then clearly they must have given some permission - so why was the club unable to produce any evidence?

Am I understanding the BBC site to be wrong - it refers to us being wound up and placed in to admin with a ten point hit if we not pay in full - I thought the 5th means pay in full or club is no more - are the been wrong ?
