Heard him speak today-really good speaker with some great stories. Started talking about his football team. Expected him to say CCFC but no. Manchester Pissing United. Your Welsh FFS. Support yr local team.

He's my dad's best mate. Been up his house loads.

He's a really nice guy, proper minted. He's a f*cking war hero.

See the shit the Celtic fans did to him?

When he went to Ibrox for the Celtic/Rangers game, they were holding up argintinian flags/shirts and chanting argentina throughout the match

Saw him on the Bob Bank once and that was against Bolton in 88. I thought he was more of an egg chasing fan anyway.

Stop being a drama queen........FFS City fans used to chant Gaddafi ....Gadaffi ...... Gadaffi is a Taffy! to rival fans.... this after Lockerbie and Yvonne Fletcher.......the "humour" is admittedly sick .....but tarring one and all with the same brush is a tad over the top. Particularly coming from City fans.

He suffered severe burns because the ship he was on blew up. He's a war hero. (No, he isn't a war hero just because of this, don't think I'm saying this).

I have great respect for war heroes.

No Irish/Scottish mixed bunch of inbreeds has the right to disrespect a war hero.

Also, add to that fact Weston has done NOTHING to offend the catholic cunts, and you see why I think it's so severe.

Well, can you name any of those who died on that ship?

Funnily enough, I'd wager good money the answer is "no". Yet Weston gets all the publicity... and we don't ask what happened to his charity.

I only know of him because he's my dads mate. I don't claim to know every hero that died in any conflict. I know f**k all about who even fights where.

Obviously I don't know the guy but I've heard a few people say he was a proper trouble maker before the Falklands War and the hit really had an impact on his view of life. I've met him once or twice over the last few years (done Cardiff games and at a wrestling event at the CIA) and he's been friendly enough so I am only going to judge him on my experience.

From what he's actually said to me, he used to be a right c**t. But near death experiences changes most people, I reckon.
