Sky Sports news reported that Mr Ridsdale put forward a case that a "Mystery Person" would be putting 6 million pounds into the club within the next couple of weeks!!

"Where is the written commitments from this individual"??? asked the reigistrar & HMRC Barrister

THERE IS NOT ONE!!!!

However the BBC have reported on the court appearence and have named Datuk Chan Tien Ghee as our 'Trump Card'!!

Could this be the beginning of a takeover bid from the Thai group, or just more lies from Mr. Ridsdale to save time and pray that 6 thousand fans put their hands in their pockets to shell out more money to save his skin!?

Does anyone have any further information or know if this investment is forthcoming!?

If not, we could end up playing Chester City at the bottom of the English tier!!

Exactly no-one throws £6m at anything without strict conditions. If this fantasy money does appear it will not be the Christmas present everyone is assuming it is.

I think people have to start getting their heads around the fact that IF investment comes the club will change significantly and there may be changes that we don't necessarily like. However, we would still have a club that could look forward and not continually over our shoulder.

We may lose some "name" players but lack of these names doesn't see to have harmed Swansea, Leicester, Blackpool, etc.

I think it's about managing expectations

If Ridsdale killed this club then I honestly believe his life wouldn't be worth living.

We'll be fine, in whatever shape or form. The fans make the club not anything else. Even if we drop down I'll still be there supporting. Think of the positives... cheaper season tickets!
