already this season we have lost 12 games, and correct me if im wrong but im sure we only lost 9 all last season (this could be totally wrong as i havnt looked this up, just gone on a rough guess) but yet we are still in a play off position.

i think the championship is a lot weaker this season but i also think our team last season was a lot better than this season (despite our woeful ending last season)

last season i found myself going to games expecting to win, or at least a draw in league games! call me over confident if u wish but this is the belief i had in our team last season. Even games against wolves and birmingham i thought we can easily get a point here, or possibly 3!

dave jones said beginning of the season this is the strongest squad hes had since hes been at cardiff, well i think last seasons was much stronger! we really badly miss roger johnson, and we miss the flair that routledge brought to us for a month or two

this season i dont have nowhere near the same confidence going to watch us. i expect us to lose saturday against leicester again

hope they prove me wrong though!

Otherwise, you're totally right. However I'm sure we didn't have as many injuries last season as we've had this year

Our defence was more solid with Johnson but we have a much better keeper this year in Marshall. Our midfield was better last year as well with Ledley and McPhail actually fit. This year it's been a massive problem. No surprise that goals have dried up with the midfield lacking. However, our wings are much better this year. Attack is worse in my eyes. Much more inconsistent.

of course but even then i just didnt feel the team was as strong as last seasons, us fans have noticed for at least the last 3 seasons how weak our centre midfield is but yet dave jones didnt improve on this during the summer and instead brought in 2 mediocre centre halfs, a half decent goalkeeper, a terrible right back (quinn) and michael chopra

only chopra in my eyes was a good signing, possibly masrhall aswell

but my point is dave jones must really think rae/ledley/mcphail/wildig are good enough to control games and get us out of this league?

and with ledley out for a while and mcphail been really unlucky with injuries who are we left with? nobody!

i think we lost 10 last season but drew quite a lot

our defence was better with johnson

our centre midfield was better with ledley/mcphail fit

wings have been better this season

and we have been unluckier with injuries this season

I think we have the best forward line the league bar Newcastle.

McCormack, Chopra, Bothroyd, Whitts and Burke.

Defensively, we're terribly weaker.
I know Hudson was torn apart at the start of the season, but i think we're a better team with him in the side.
