IT's taken me 16 months to deregister as self employed with these conmen, and they have been chasing me for contributions throughout this period too.
Maybe they are picking on PR too.......

i hav nt worked self employed since 2007, and when i stopped i wrote to them straight away to tell them. a month later i was employed by some one and my tax code changed. done my tax return and thought that was it. last year i had a tax return for 08-09 sent it back explaining, 2 weeks ago had a £100 penalty for a late return, phoned them and they said they have to send me a new 0809 form and i have send it back to them also i have a appeal the £100 penalty and if iam unsuccesful more will be added (interest). i have a p60 for 0809 which clearly states how much tax i paid for this period working for my boss. THICK AS SHIT!
