I certainly wouldn't touch us with a barge pole right now and I am not surprised we're still without a buyer. Saying that, I would be tempted if I had a few hundred million. The potential here is unprecedented and if a proper business plan was drawn up I am certain the £40m needed to cover the debts and the £30m to buy the club would be covered within years.

All those small business that are owed must run into the millions for a start.

I reckon that the club could easily be bought for £20 million, which would buy the club, settle something like half the debt, with guarantees to those creditors to pay off the rest within 18 months, when the club stabilises. If I was an investor, who was serious about getting this club into the Premiership within the next couple of years, in my opinion now is the time to strike a deal, not after entering administration and the 10 pts deduction and the drop in value in the playing squad and all the other nasties that come with it.
