BORLEY IN MALAYSIA

I learned today that Steve Borley is in Malaysia working on a deal to sell the club to the malaysians using the 'drag on' option in the company's constitution.

Basically a 'drag on' means that if 51% of the shareholders agree a price then the other 49% have to sell.

I was informed that the club is being offered for less than 10p a share, meaning that Guy, Hall will take the biggest hits as they are the largest shareholders but now they have the hotel land along with the retail park they are quite relaxed about it.

A stumbling block is that so far there is not, I believe, 51% of shareholders yet, who agree in principal to this strategy but they are very close.

BETWEEN PAUL GUY, MIKE HALL, PMG ESTATES,ALAN WHITELY AND STEVE BORLEY THERE IS 39.47% SHARES.

THE QUESTION IS WHO WILL SUPPLY THE OTHER 11.53%.

RUDGWICK OWN 4.65% SO THAT MAYBE A STARTER.

This is the way that the board can get rid of PR without him getting his £1 million handshake and also not making on his 'GIFTED' shares too

I think since 62 proposed that strategy on the other board today - looks like he was spot on. The Riddlers getting tucked up

Who are the other big shareholders? Do the trust have any shares in the club?

i think most of the others should agree cause they wont get anything once we go it to admin

That sounds very positive to me a very big pessimist - I pray this sorts itself out - at the moment it is like waiting for a very close family member to die of a terminal disease and it being out of your control - and yes I have experienced that

when a couple of us spoke to paul guy at the egm outside he said when we mention about the price 45p a share peter risdale wanted but he said they are woth nowhere near that and he would be happy to get what they paid for them back, but he stated that he doesnt think he will would ! maybe there is more truth in this

Yes Carl your virtually spot on, Sam Hammam also told me this on Tuesday.

it makes you laugh he paid 12p or so for his shares then he wants 35p even know he fucked the club hope he fucks off with nothing
