Aaron Wilding cant ever play for Wales, even though he played for Wales under 16's 3 times, he cant play for Wales Seniors as the only bit of Welsh in him is from his Great great Grandparents.

Cant he qualify through residency as he hasn't played for another nation?

If youve been in say a Welsh School say for 4 or 5 Years Yes.

I thought he could now that he has been schooled in Wales? Wildig is from Hereford i believe.

you can play for a National Team, as long as you havent played for another one at Senior level, and either one of your parents or grandparents are from the country of desire. Great grandparents do not count!

I dont think there are any residency or schooling rules anymore - although i could be wrong if someone shows me the evidence?

I thought the residency thing was only if you were born outside the UK, but lived here and then obtained a British passport. You could then choose one of the UK teams to play for.
